Saturday, January 27
Mater Dei Parish Mass and 6-8 Open House

• 4:00 PM at Assumption Church - Parish Mass
• 5:00 PM at 6-8 building—Open House (Donuts & Juice available)

Sunday, January 28
Mater Dei Parish Mass, K-5 Open House, and Book Fair

• 9:00 AM at Holy Name Church - Parish Mass
• 10:00 AM at K-5 building - K-5 Open House (Donuts & Juice available)

Book Fair: The Book Fair will be in the gym on Sunday. On Monday, the Book Fair will move to the Library and will be open each day after school. The proceeds from books sales are used exclusively to purchase items for the library.

Monday, January 29
Prayer Day

• Crazy Hat & Sock day. (Put Your Best Foot Forward, Hats Off to Catholic Education)
• K-5 Students will recite special prayers and focus on special intentions throughout the day.
• 6-8 Students will begin the day with a Rosary service, participate in Perpetual Adoration and conclude with a
special Benediction. Special intentions will be said during Perpetual Adoration.

Community members are encouraged to send us special prayer requests for this day. Request forms will be available via the Church bulletins and/or School newsletters.

Tuesday, January 30
Service Day

• K-8 classes will organize service activities that will make a positive impact on the community. Students will help the Church, volunteer to help several local service agencies, and/or create artwork that will benefit different organizations within Topeka.
• Spirit Day - Students can wear their spirit t-shirts or sweatshirts

Wednesday, January 31
National Catholic Schools Day

• 9:30 AM at Hayden High School - Grades 5 - 8 will participate in the regional Catholic Schools Week Mass
• 1:00 PM at Holy Name Church - K-5 Musical Showcase.
• 2:15 PM at Assumption Church (Rossiter Hall) - 6-8 Musical Showcase.

We welcome family, friends, and all community members to listen to our special musical performances!

Thursday, February 1
Student/Teacher Appreciation Day

• Dress Down day for the students
• 1:00 PM Movie & popcorn for the students

Friday, February 2
Dress Up Day 1/2 day of school

• 9:00 AM at Holy Name Church - All school Mass
• 10:00 AM at Holy Name Church - Student Awards Assembly
• 10:30 AM at Holy Name Church - School Spelling Bee Finals
